When my 'mom' went to jail her roommate discarded me and my calico housemate at a kill shelter. She was rescued by another group, but I was left there to die because I had developed an upper respiratory infection so nasty that when I sneezed it was speckled with blood. But CARE stepped in and saved me. I was on antibiotics for 7 days and now I am happy and healthy with my appetite back at full strength. I have unusual red and white markings, much like a pinto pony's. With good health play has reentered my repertoire and I zip around while playing with my red zigzag ball. My favorite things are to be stroked and scratched, head butting, cuddling, and hugging you while I sit in your lap and we watch TV, and sitting and watching the goings on outside our windows. As you can see in my photo, I dabble in computer work when I can find the time. I especially like men and can't get enough of sitting with my foster dad. I am not overly fond of my foster family's cats, but that could be because there are so many of them. But I did live with Miss Calico, so I know it's possible to live with another feline. CARE has the information for her with the other rescue group so if you wanted to adopt us both you could. I am a real love bug and will offer you affection as easily as I offer my sweet belly for a rub. Only about 4 years old, I will bring you much companionship and joy for many, many years.
