just think...she is move-in ready! No puppy potty training or chewing issues here and she’s got many years left to love you.

Personality:Kady is very sweet, smart and full of fun. She loves
her toys and chewing on bones, not to mention chin and belly rubs! She isn't fond of being in a crate but has great house manners, not at all destructive. Kady dislikes the crate so much she's figured out how to unlatch the door! She's also been known to sneak in some couch time when her foster Mom is away. Kady is good with people but prefers the company of males believe it or not. Kady is an all-around good girl and would love a family/person who would take her for walks and engage her in activities that stimulate her mind. Could that be you? She’s the life of the party but very well mannered and has even been through an obedience training program. Her foster Mom says she's great at following commands but like all smart dogs, has a stubborn streak if she's found something else more interesting (like a squirrel).

Forever home: Because of her energy level and play style, we think Kady should be placed in a home with older children (8+) because she can be a bit pushy and can easily knock down a small child not paying attention. We’d really like Kady to have a physically fenced yard. Kady would do best as an only dog or with a submissive male as she tends to take on the alpha role in a pack. Kady has been with us for a long time. She just needs a special person to love her.

Waggin' Tails Adoption Information: Waggin' Tails Dog Rescue has a standard adoption fee of $175, $275 for small breed dogs or $200 for puppies plus a $50 deposit which is returned upon proof of spay/neuter at six months of age. Our adoption process includes an application, vet reference checks, and a home visit.

We do not have a facility; all of our dogs are fostered in private homes. To view our dogs, please check

With few exceptions, we show our adoptable animals on Saturdays from 12pm - 3pm at PetSmart in Northville (on Haggerty Rd between 6 and 7 mile) or PetSmart in Canton (the northwest corner of Ford Rd and Haggerty Rd). Arrangements can be made to meet our rescue dogs outside of Saturday adoption events after an approved application is submitted (the application does not imply an obligation by the applicant or by the rescue group).
