Color of coat description pertains to Melba. Hi, I am Hazel and my beautiful pastel calico sister is Melba. We were rescued from a kill shelter and have been with our wonderful foster mom Jane for a while now. She has worked diligently to get us totally healthy and ready for new homes and boy are we there now! We love Jane, but it is time for us to spread our wings and have an entire home to explore and more things to entertain us. We are just about 9 months old as of mid March and are sweet, affectionate, and just a lot of fun to have around. Now, may I tell you a little about us? Please forgive a moment of immodesty, but I am so very pretty with my warm gray/brown medium length fur and my stunning green eyes. I take no time to warm up to you and am immediately friendly. Since I am really still a kitten, I can be quite lively and playful, especially after a bit of catnip. I love that herb! At other times I am calm and laid back. Mom says that I have an adorably disheveled 'I just woke up' sleepy face when I arise from my nap. I am the total package and an instant heart stealer. Darling Melba, my best friend and sister, has the most winning markings of gray, peach, and white. Sometimes her eyes appear to be amber and at others they look green, but they always are gorgeous windows to her soul. Outgoing and solicitous of affection, she loves games and lap time in equal measure. She has a very gentle nature, likes to touch and chat, and takes great interest in everything going on around her. She is one of those ladies who gives you her full attention and makes you feel extra special. Our roots say we're sisters, our hearts say we're friends. We and our foster mom very much wish for us to be adopted together. We have been through much together and should not be parted just as our new lives unfold before us.
