| I'm Huey, and I'm an eight-year-old poodle mix. Life has been a little tough for me lately. Economic conditions forced my family of six years to surrender my brother and me, and we had to be split up. It was especially hard for me because my brother was sort of my "eyes"--you see, I'm blind. I live with a foster now and am doing very well. I'm healthy, and just had my teeth cleaned. I'm very smart, housetrained, and find my way around quite well once I get used to my surroundings. In just one week at my foster home, I learned to use a dog door and find it from both inside and outside the house! I get along well with my current canine housemate and all people, but would probably do best with adults, as they move a little more slowly. Best of all would be a home where I can get plenty of my favorite things--ear scratches, belly rubs, and butt scratches! Are you that home??? Health I am happy and healthy!
