Lacy's Story...

Lacy is beautiful one year old black lab mix female. She is UTD on vaccines and worming. She has been at the shelter since she was 8 weeks old, when a neighbor who found her and her two sibblings dropped at his residence. He threatened to 'shoot them' if GLR would not take them. She has the most beautiful black shinny fur and is a sweet, sweet dog just needing someone to give her a home. She would make an awesome friend and companion for that special someone who will give her the love and attention she needs and deserves. She's smart too!
She is scheduled to be altered soon and will be before adoption. She looks like a full blooded lab. Lacy weighs around 45 lbs. and will not get any larger. Her adoption fee is $100.00 to cover costs incured and for spaying, vaccines and vet care. About Our Rescue Group...
I am a Ga. Dept. of Agriculture licensed rescue/shelter. I have loved animals all my life and hate to see so many animals euthanized in our country. I have a low cost spay neuter clinic, ready since March of 07 but cannot find a veterinarian willing to work here even one day per week. I was an EMT for several years and now devote all my time to rescue including transporting to other low cost spay neuter clinics, as a community service.
