Rufus is a very unusual looking boy, but does not have an unusual story for these days. His owners moved and left him and his brother behind. They stayed on the porch of their abandoned house for weeks waiting for their owners to come home. Neighbors took pity on them and began feeding them. When it became apparent no one was coming back for him, Rufus ended up at our local animal control. That is where we rescued him. We just felt like he deserved a chance at a forever home where he will never be abandoned again.
