To adopt a rescue cat or kitten, please call: 850-238-2822 to request an adoption application or email us at: beachcatrescue@gmail.com. Once the application is received, processed and the Board grants preliminary approval, you will be contacted by the Foster Family to schedule a convenient time to meet with the pet at the foster home. Final approval for adoption is granted by the foster family after talking with you by phone or meeting you in person. After you have spent some time with the kitten (s) or cat (s) you are interested in adopting and you have decided to go forward with the adoption process, you will be asked to sign the adoption agreement & the promise pledge and pay the minimum adoption donation of $75. If you are adopting a kitten that is under 16 weeks old at the time of adoption, you can purchase a low-cost sterilization voucher for $20 per neuter and $30 per spay. All adopted kittens must be fixed before they reach 5 months of age as a condition of the adoption contract and promise pledge.If the cat you are adopting is over 16 weeks old, it will already be spayed or neutered at the time of adoption. The $75 adoption donation is used to cover the expenses incurred by our rescue organization to prepare the cat for adoption with; sterilization, vaccinations, wormer, flea treatment, micro-chip insertion, and food & litter to care for the cat while in foster care. The $75 Adoption Donation Includes: Kittens (under 16 weeks) - - Vet Exam - 1st kitten vaccination (FVRCP) - Flea treatment with Capstar - Worming treatment with Drontal (tapes, hooks & rounds) - Micro-Chip with AVID Note: All adopted kittens must be spayed/neutered by the Adopter before 5 months of age.
