| Meet Abali our Dog Cat. She knows she's a cat but she goes against the "Official Cat Code Book" and loves dogs. Go figure! She is a 6 year old domestic short hair black female cat. She is a darling sweetheart who adores dogs! She is a bit shy around people at first, but at night she climbs into bed and loves to have a nice chat before she curls up and falls asleep next to her current foster dog. She's sleeping in his belly right now! She loves all dogs (any size/shape/breed/age/sex). Just as long as they are friendly and loving, she would be happy. She totally enjoys the companionship of dogs. As soon as I bring my 75lb Akita/Husky into the house, she jumps off her perch and curls up in his belly and gives him head-butts. I have introduced other dogs to her and she loves any attention they will pay to her. As long as the dog likes cats, she will be very happy. She LOVES to play and will spend hours playing with me or the other cats at the shelter. She follows our dog around the house and loves to weave in and out of his legs for fun. She has become his shadow and he adores her too. Abali loves to come into the kitchen and 'Squeak' for treats & food. She wil sit there at dinner time talking up quite a bit until I give her supper. She was rescued in the dead of winter after being left outside to fend for her own. She had her babies outside in the snow, kept them all alive and lost an incredible amount of weight caring for her babies. Her babies were all adopted and now it's her turn to find a forever home! Abali is 100% up-to-date on all of her medical care. She has been spayed and has been fully vetted. She tested negative for FelV/FIV, negative for Bartinella, and has had all of her vaccinations. Initially she would be very scared in your home, but after a while she would get comfy/cozy and curl up with you at night to watch t.v. or read. She LOVES to sleep inbetween me and the dog, and she is a huge snuggler once you lie down in bed. She doesn't do well with sudden movement or loud noises, so younger children wouldn't be suited for her. How To Adopt Go to www.smittenbykittens.com and click on the Online Application Form.
