Shelly's Story...
Girard LifeSaver of Burke County Georgia
Shelly is a beautiful and laid back black and white lab mix. She weighs approximately 50 lbs. She is curently UTD on her vaccines and is spayed. She is now about 2 years old, is housetrained. crate trained, a wonderful inside dog and has been waiting since a puppy for her new and forever home. She is the sweatest dog and will make an excellent companion and best friend. She wants to be near you all the time and is a very smart girl. She loves attention and knows basic commands. She can already sit and shake hands. Shelly was dumped at a dumpster at 12 weeks of age and left to fend for herself. Her partner a black chow was not as lucky as Shelly and was hit by a car before he became trusting enough of humans to be rescued. She wants a forever home so bad and that special someone to give her the love and attention she craves. About Our Rescue Group...
I am a Ga. Dept. of Agriculture licensed rescue/shelter. I have loved animals all my life and hate to see so many animals euthanized in our country. I have a low cost spay neuter clinic, ready since March of 07 but cannot find a veterinarian willing to work here even one day per week. I was an EMT for several years and now devote all my time to rescue including transporting to other low cost spay neuter clinics, as a community service.
