Hi, I’m Bessie. I’m a 1 yr old large (70lbs) Labrador Retriever mix. I love people, children, dogs and cats.  I am a wonderful and mellow girl who wants to belong to a family that is willing to go for walks and go to the dog park daily.  Aside from knowing commands such as sit, shake hands and speak, I can catch snacks midair. If that isn’t amazing enough, I love to chase after tennis balls; when you tell me 'Bessie ball' I will search until I find one and bring it over to you. I will then drop it at your feet and let out a bark to let you know I’m ready to play. My bark can be intimidating, but I promise I am nothing but pure love. I am housetrained but need to go out immediately after eating.  I promise to be a wonderful addition to your family if given the chance.
