| My name is Kona (a yearling) which is a big name to live up to. Kona coffee, grown in Hawaii, has a reputation of being one of the most expensive and sought after coffee in the world. Wouldn’t that be something if it applied to kitties named Kona too? Like many cats in foster care, I had a rough start in life and my first memories are of a city shelter. There I was, trying to figure out what happened to mom, when my foster mom came along and took me and my siblings home! I’m told that I’m quite a character and I think it is great to be full of personality! They say that I’m striking as an adult cat because of my unusual markings. It has been a year now, and I am still looking for a home. I am just a little shy, but will be a very loving kitty. So, if you’re looking for a playmate, I’m your boy! I’ve been neutered, tested negative, treated for fleas and worms, and even microchipped to boot! What more could you ask for? I guess the only thing I can ask for is a good family! If you think you’re it, please email my foster mom at annette@happystrays.org. Please note that we show our cats and kittens every Saturday at the PETCO in La Canada Flintridge with occassional Sundays at the PETCO in Santa Clarita. Let us know your preferred store location in making arrangements to meet a kitty. All of our rescue kitties are fostered in our volunteers' homes and it is best to contact the foster directly to make plans to meet this cat on a particular Saturday. |
