| Annie was hit by a car on a busy street in July 2008 as a little kitten. She suffered a hairline fracture to her jaw and her leg was broken with the bone shattered. Annie was compassionately rescued from the street and taken to a vet immediately for an evaluation that sad day. Today she is living in a wonderful temporary foster home, and the cat specialist recommended that her front leg be removed. Annie played and frolicked just like any normal kitten, but she dragged her limp leg with her. Annie had surgery last summer to remove her front leg, and now she plays like any normal cat and is our great little "tripod" kitty now. We couldn't be happier for her! When she walks, she moves more like a bunny now which we think is too cute! DOB: Late spring 2008 If you'd like to learn more about our "yearling", a beautiful Russian blue, Annabelle, please email her foster mom at megann@happystrays.org to make arrangements to meet them at the Petco in La Canada or Santa Clarita during the rescue's adoption Saturdays. All of our rescue kitties are fostered in our volunteers' homes and it is best to contact the foster directly to make plans to meet them on a particular Saturday. |
