Bells's story...
We named Bells after the song, 'Silver Bells' because her fur is a gorgeous silver color. She is a really beautiful cat and we have never seen such a pretty color. Her fur is also very soft like a bunny rabbits. Poor Bells was caught in a trap and we thought she was a feral cat. So her right ear is ear-tipped, meaning a small part has been cut off the end to show that she has been fixed. This is used with feral cats to allow someone to look and know they have been spayed or neutered. But it was pretty obvious that Bells was not a feral cat when she began head butting us through the trap and sticking her butt in the air so we could pet her. Miss Bells is a bit shy at first and does like to spend time on her own, but if she is given plenty of time to adjust, she quickly warms up to you. She is okay with other cats, but would probably do best by herself or in a home with one other gentle kitty. She has been around a rabbit and did great with him. She is a friendly girl and just loves to have her head and belly rubbed. She is only about a year and a half old and has been spayed, vaccinated, tested negative for feline leukemia/FIV, dewormed, microchipped, and treated for fleas/ticks. Miss Bells is a real lover and we are so glad she wandered into our trap. If you are interested in Bells, please download an adoption application from our 'Adopt' page at www.bandocats.org and either email it back to us or fax it to 614-873-0972. Let Miss Silver Bells put you in the holiday spirit.
