Here is a nice 2 year old terrierX fella who was abandoned by his owner and left to fend for himself. Luckily, the kill shelter that he was in put out a plea that reached us..... He is the classic turn of the century All American dog, the pitbull terrier! He gets along fine with most dogs, but especially the girls, tho he does prefer to dine alone! This guy is currently going through heartworm treatment because some irresponsible person didn't care enough about him to see that he was on preventative! He could be adopted out to a home that would see that he was kept quiet for a few weeks. (until 1/1/09) Then his life should be normal! Robo's adoption fee is $200. We are a small no-kill shelter on the north side of Chicago for canines. All animals are spayed/neutered, wormed, and vaccinated prior to adoption.All potential adopters must visit the shelter or foster home before adopting, we do not ship our animals.
Adoption fees for dogs are $250 and up, All animals are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and given first dose of wormer. Contracts are required.
