Julia and Miles are a bonded pair of bichons, who must be adopted together for one adoption fee. Julia, a female bichon, was born sometime in 2006 and weighs 21 pounds. Miles, a male bichon, was born sometime in 2006 and weighs 14 pounds. Julia is a sweet girl with the desire to be close to people, although she takes her time in getting to know you. She loves to give kisses when she is comfortable with you and likes to sleep curled up with Miles in their Foster Mom’s bed. Julia gets along well with other dogs and also likes to play with other dogs and likes to play with toys. Julia is extremely smart when it comes to escaping. Julia will need a privacy fence in a fenced yard, as she can climb some fences, but hasn't mastered a privacy fence. Julia also gets car sick, so rides in the car are not frequent. Children in the home should be aged 10 and over.
Miles loves Julia! He also likes to monopolize Julia’s play time, as he is very possessive of her, although he gets along well with other dogs. Miles is one of the sweetest boys I have ever known! He loves to snuggle and sleeps next to his Foster Mom and loves to call the pillows his kingdom. If Miles is lying in the pillows and Julia is near, then Miles is in heaven. Miles has been treated for heartworms and is back to a normal little boy. Miles can appear to be a pretty laid back guy, but in true Bichon fashion, Miles loves running in the back yard and having blitzes in the grass. He saves up all of his speed for his blitzes, as he is the fastest dog in our yard! Miles wears a belly band and is improving in this area. Julia has greatly improved in her house training, but still will make an occasional mistake, and she can be hard headed when the weather is cold or wet! She hates to get her feet wet----just like most girls! Both Julia and Miles are learning that going outside is supposed to be fun. With a little patience, Julia and Miles will be a loving addition to your home. They can entertain both themselves and you, if you will let them. Julia and Miles are being fostered in OK If you would like to adopt this dog, please fill out the Small Paws Rescue Preadoption Application. |
