Rescue Group...

| Appalachian Animal Refuge/Rescue is an organization dedicated to helping abused, abandoned or otherwise needy animals. We provide love, shelter, medical services and adoptions for cats. We support our local feral cat colonies and promote the use our local low cost spay/neuter clinic. Our mission is prevention of cruelty to all animals and the extension of humane education. Volunteers and Foster Homes are always needed. If you cannot volunteer time, donations in any amount would be greatly appreciated and used for the upkeep of our shelter cats. Send to the P.O. Box above. We are a non-profit (501c) organization and your donations are tax deductible as allowed by law. Since we are a "NO KILL" Shelter we are full and cannot take in any more cats at this time. The more we adopt out, the more we can take in. So please consider us when looking for your new cat or kitten. Not all of our cats are listed yet! We have many different colors and ages. Call or email and let us know what you are looking for.........we have the cat for you! WE CAN'T SAVE THEM ALL....WITHOUT YOUR HELP! |

| WE ARE UPDATING OUR PHOTOS/ADOPTION LIST, DUE TO LACK OF TIME AND VOLUNTEERS ALL OF OUR CATS ARE NOT YET LISTED.......we hope to have most of them listed soon. Please let us know what you are looking for, we just might have the purrfect cat for you!! Applications are provided in order to help us pick the cat most suitable for you. Call or email for applications. All adoptions are by contract to ensure our animals go to a safe and loving home. Fees range from $35.00 to $65.00 depending on vaccinations or if the animal has been altered. |
