This Bichon was rescued from a commercial puppy mill and can only be placed in a home with a socialized dog already living there. The children in the home must be over the age of 10.
Newman has spent his whole life in a small cage in a commercial kennel. Newman was born sometime in 2004 and weighs 12 pounds. .
Newman is a lot of fun and likes to play "stay away from the people". He is not shy around people and always wants to be in the front of whatever action is going on. He loves to rough house with his foster cousins. He is fine with cats, and larger dogs, we know about greyhound-sized larger dogs.
Newman does not like to be on the other side of a closed door. He wants to go to the garage with his foster Dad, preferring him to the foster Mom. He sleeps through the night on the bed.
He is working on house training, which is slowly coming along. He seems to understand grooming, and will be still when he has to be, but only then!
Newman is being fostered in WY
