Deeds's Story...
My name is Deeds that is short for Longfellow Deeds. I had much longer legs than my siblings so the name seemed to fit. I am a super sweet guy but I am a little bit shy at first. But in no time I will be in your lap and loving all the attention. I am one of 5 puppies that were dropped off a bridge by some heartless person in hopes of drowning us when we were just 6 weeks old. Luckily, the nice people from the sanctuary were there trying to rescue some other dogs and found us on a small sandbar in the middle of the creek. One of my sisters did not make it and someof the others have already been adopted but Peaches (my sister) are still here waitng and hoping. I am about 2 1/2 years old now and they tell me not to give up hope but honestly I am getting pretty discouraged. I have been neutered and I am current on my vaccinations and heartworm preventative. I am still here probably because I am sort of shy but if you will just give me a chance you will see how special I really am.

About Our Rescue Group...
We are a volunteer all breed/species animal sanctuary including cats, dogs, horses, goats, donkeys and various other creatures. We operate a 65 acre facility with play yards, kennels and a large cattery. We rescue from high-kill shelters as well as the needy animal found wandering the streets. We fully vet and spay/neuter all of our pets PRIOR to placement in a wonderful forever home. We have a strict application process that involves at least one (1) home visit as well as a possible follow-up visit before the adoption can be finalized. We have to make sure that we get it right because our babies are lucky to get a "2nd Chance" and they might not get a 3rd.

Come Meet Our Pets...
After an application has been approved you will be invited to the sanctuary to meet the animals and to see if there is a connection made between you and the animal you are interested in. We encourage you to look at all the animals that fit your criteria so that you can better make the best decision for your family.

Our Adoption Process...
Our adoption fee is $150.00 and up depending on the medical attention that has been required to bring the animal to a healthy condition. We have legal and binding adoption contracts and each adoption is contingent on a two week trial basis. All adoption fees are a tax-deductible donation and are therefore Non-Refundable.
