Koda's Story...

Koda is a beautiful Chocholate and White Chesapeake Bay Retriever. He has beautuful wavy hair on his back. He is very good with cats and other animals. Koda is 6 months old and is UTD on vaccines and worming. He needs a home as he has been at the rescue/shelter for a few months now. and is anxious to show his new family what a 'good Boy' he is. Koda needs a home and family he can love and cherish. I have worked with Koda for some time now and he has a protective instinct known to his breed. He needs to find his forever home now so that he may bond with his new family. He is protective of the person he cares for and craves their attention, also characteristic of his breed. He is leary of strangers and barks at them. Once he gets to know them he is fine. We would like for Koda to go to a home that will offer him obedience training. Koda is already altered. He is very willing to learn, very affectionate and will make a wonderful lifelong friend and companion. About Our Rescue Group...
I am a Ga. Dept. of Agriculture licensed rescue/shelter. I have loved animals all my life and hate to see so many animals euthanized in our country. I have a low cost spay neuter clinic, ready since March of 07 but cannot find a veterinarian willing to work here even one day per week. I was an EMT for several years and now devote all my time to rescue including transporting to other low cost spay neuter clinics, as a community service.
