Hello, I'm Jemma and I'm a 2 yr old medium-sized (75 lbs.) Pointer mix.
After having a litter of puppies I was dumped at the pound, but now I am hopeful I will soon find a forever home. Because of my markings, I have been told I look like the vintage RCA Victor Victrola dog and that I am a camera-ready beauty. I am very social and love to be involved in whatever is going on. My favorite activity is being active with the people in my life. I adore people! I like to entertain them by doing various tricks standing on my hind legs. They love it when I do that. I also am very sweet and gentle with infants, children and even strangers. I need a lot of exercise too and I can jog, hike, play ball or just walking is great fun for me too. Can I come with in the car? I'll do a happy little jig for you before we go on our outing as well as carry my leash in my mouth while you get ready. I have loads of charisma and charm. I love toys and yes I take leisurely naps since I love my rest. Smart dogs like me know we need our beauty sleep. I am extremely spunky with a huge personality and ready to be your all around fun and good dog!

We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing dogs from various Los Angeles shelters the day they are to be euthanized. Our goal is to help provide animals with a second chance to a happy life and to help reduce pet overpopulation through spay and neuter programs. Once rescued, we place our dogs into loving foster homes while they await adoption. We do not keep dogs in kennels. Placing the dogs in foster homes is the first step to rehabilitation, as it allows us to thoroughly evaluate a dog's demeanor and needs enabling us to make the perfect match of dog and permanent owner. We attribute our high rate of successful placement to our foster program. At Ace of Hearts, we do not discriminate against any breed, including those in the bully breed family. Additionally, Ace of Hearts is dedicated to educating the public on how to be responsible pet owners and on the importance of spaying and neutering. We believe the real solution to pet overpopulation is through spaying and neutering pets.

If you fill out an application, we can arrange for private showings of the dog at the foster parent's home.
First, you can fill out an application at www.aceofheartsdogs.com under HOW TO ADOPT. Then you can come see the dog at our Saturday adoptions or directly and the foster parent's home. Third, we would do a housecheck, then upon receipt of the $250 donation and signed Adoption Agreement Form, you are good to go! Please call (310) 358-3344 if you have any questions/requests.
