| UPDATE: Sage has grown into a wonderful girl, she is house trained and does well with other animals, we would recommend that she not be placed in a home with small dogs or cats as she seems to be a bit too curious about them. Sage has been living with two other dogs as well as children since she came into the rescue and she is doing great. It is really time for Sage to find her forever home, won't you give her the home she deserves? Born on May 1, 2008 Sage was one of 8 babies were born to a stray mommy who wandered onto a farm. The good samaritans who own the farm took her in and started caring for her. Sage is not purebred... but they will love you just the same. Sage is a very active little lady and will need an active household. She is very wiggley and kissey and full of love!! To apply to adopt or foster Sage, please visit our website at www.scpitrescue.org to fill out the application. Sage's adoption fee is $200, which works toward reimbursing the rescue for the cost of her vet care. Sage is fully vaccinated, spayed, and microchipped. Sage also underwent 2-3 months of treatment for demodectic mange, along with her littermates. Sage's foster home is located in Mt. Pleasant.
