My name is Abner and I was found by the Angels at the shelter. I am so happy they are taking me and going to find me my forever home. I'm all about the finer things in life. Let the other dogs run around outside and act crazy. I prefer to sit on the couch, cuddle, and eat. I enjoy a good play session now and again, but I'm no outsdoordog. but I do like my walks.
I have a few skin issues and need to eat a diet without chicken. I do need special baths a couple times a week and because of my severe dry eye also need eye meds a few times a day. I would prefer a home with females only.
I'm approximately 9-10 years old, and weigh 15 lbs. I am neutered, up to date on all my shots including rabies, heartworm tested (neg), microchipped, dewormed for intestinal parasites, currently on a heartworm and flea preventative. I come with one free vet visit. My adoption donation is $150.00. We are a non profit organization dedicated to saving the lives of unwanted dogs. We take our pets from kill shelters, owners who can longer care for them, and strays. They are completed vetted and then fostered in our homes until the perfect family can be found for them.
We show our adoptable dogs every Saturday between 10:00 am and 4:00 pm at the Petco on the corner of N. Dale Mabry Hwy and Fletcher Ave. in Tampa.
Our Adoption Process...
We have an application that is the first step in our adoption process. This application can be downloaded from our website at www.lostangelsanimalrescue.org. The adoption fee varies depending on the medical expenses incurred. We also require vet references and potentially a home visit before an adoption is finalized.
