Timmy and his sister (or possibly mom) Lindsey were abandoned near our rescue on a two lane 55mph road. Some wonderful angels got the petrified Timmy and Lindsey off the road, but that was just the start for Timmy.
Timmy had the worst case of demodectic mange we have ever seen and a related skin infection to boot. Lindsey, for some reason, did not have it. After 16 weeks of extensive care at a wonderful foster, and thanks to our fabulous vet, Timmy came out the other side as nearly perfect as we could ever hope for and was such a good little patient! We believe Timmy to be about 1.5-2.5 years of age.
Timmy and Lindsey were obviously outside dogs and will need training on inside manners and housetraining. But don't panic! ALL young dogs need training. We offer a credit towards your adoption fee to help with training costs.
Timmy is an active dog that loves people. He and Lindsey run and play and stay together most of the time. They are extremely close. We will separate them to the right homes, but would love to see them go together, so if you have two people in the home, that is just perfect!
Both are good with the other dogs here, though best fed apart (Timmy likes to steal Lindsey's food!). Timmy is fully vetted: neutered, vaccinated, wormed and flea free. He will be microchipped prior to going to his new home.
These are both fun little dogs that also love affection. They enjoy walks and love to run in the yard. They are also crate trained.

We are a small private rescue organization. Most of our rescue animals, cats and dogs, are from local shelters though occasionally we will take owner turn-in animals as we have space.
All of our rescue animals are fully vetted: spayed/neutered, vet checked, vaccinated, microchipped. All veterinary records are passed onto the new companion family.

Our Adoption Process...
Our adoption fees vary with each animal but dogs are generally $200.00-$250.00, and cats are $100-$125. We require an application, telephone interview, home visit, contract and after visit if necessary. All of these things are to ensure that our rescues are placed properly in a safe environment.
