Meet Dexter! Dexter is a beautiful little boy, looking for a home with lots of love and attention. He is UTD on his vaccines and worming, crate trained and gets along great with other animals and children. He is thought to be a Catahoula hound mix 6 months of age and is the brother to Coyote, also listed on the available pets at GLS Rescue. He will be around 20-25 lbs. when full grown. We have no way of knowing the other mix little Dexter may be but think it is possibly Chiuahua due to the small to medium size he and his brother Coyote will be. He is a sweet little boy. He had stomach trouble when he first came and for some time after. We have him on a diet of rice based dog food now and he is doing well on this. He is a very cute and smart little boy and looking for his forever home. Please consider Dexter and show him what a real home is like, with love and attention and so he will never know again what it feels like to be 'Dumped' on a dirt road at 7 weeks of age. About Our Rescue Group...
I am a Ga. Dept. of Agriculture licensed rescue/shelter. I have loved animals all my life and hate to see so many animals euthanized in our country. I have a low cost spay neuter clinic, ready since March of 07 but cannot find a veterinarian willing to work here even one day per week. I was an EMT for several years and now devote all my time to rescue including transporting to other low cost spay neuter clinics, as a community service.
