Sebastian is a beautiful boy way overdue for his forever home. We are estimating that he was born on 7/2/06. He was found with his 2 siblings, Huckleberry and Marley. He would probably not do well with children, since he is the alpha. We think he would probably do okay with cats if supervised initially. He would do well with other dogs - if there is a 'solid' mature adult dog that he could follow; probably a female would be better. If adopted his foster mom will provide help with transitioning Sebastian into your home to ensure that it works out!

Sebastian will also be attending obedience training soon to help with his manners. He is the perfect dog at his foster mom's home so we know that he could be at yours too!

Sebastian is healthy, current on vaccines, neutered and was started monthly on Interceptor and Frontline Plus since he was a pup. He needs a foster home and/or a permanent home.

Adoption fee may be waived for the perfect family. He is currently being fostered in Chattanooga TN.

About Our Rescue Group...

Homeward Bound is a non profit, no-kill organization based in Gilmer County, Georgia which began in August 2000. We are dedicated to providing a safe and nurturing environment for unwanted companion animals, while actively seeking permanent homes through our adoption programs. We take in dogs and cats that are found as strays, owner surrenders and abandoned. We also take animals out of high kill shelters to prevent them from being euthanized. We have rescued and adopted out about 4,000 animals.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We hold adoptions every Saturday from 11-5 and every odd Sunday (1st, 3rd and 5th) at PetSmart, 860 Cobb Place Blvd., Kennesaw, GA 30144 (off of Barrett Parkway).

Our Adoption Process...

All dogs are spayed/neutered, current to age on vaccines, dewormed, heartworm negative, and started on heartworm preventative and flea preventative. Adoption fee for dogs are $145.00 cash or check.

All cats are spayed/neutered, current on vaccines, dewormed, FELV/FIV negative and started on flea preventative. Adoption fee is $110.00 cash or check.

Application review and approval is required prior to adopting. Adopters must be at least 21 years old.

We serve the Gilmer County/Ellijay area along with the Kennesaw/Atlanta, GA area.
