Juno's story...
Personality

I am a really sweet girl. I love to snuggle, run around, bark, let you know people are at the house, and then snuggle some more.

What are the dog's favorite toys or things to do?
I love bones, cow hooves with peanut butter, kongs, stuffed toys to play with – I don’t de-stuff them just play with them, and I love to eat!

Dog's forever home:
I need to be in a home with no other animals. I live in a home now with a boxer and most of the time I like her, but every once in a while I get upset with her and we fight. My mom doesn’t like this behavior, so I really need to be an only dog. I am ok being home alone during the day – I just sleep on the bed while you are out. But I would love to have a big back yard to run around in.

Socialization

Does the dog like cats? Live with cats?
I do not do well with cats.

Does the dog like other dogs?
I need to be an only dog – cause sometimes I fight with other dogs.

Does the dog like kids?
I love kids – I don’t live with any, but when they come to visit I am very sweet with them – I can be a little rambunctious so with very small kids I might need supervision so I don’t knock them over by accident.

Should the dog be placed with other pets and/or kids?
No other pets. Kids would be great though.

Training and Behavior

Housebroken?
Mostly. Every once in a while I will pee in the house.

Crate trained?
I used to be, but I haven’t been in a crate in years.

Has the dog had any training?
I have had lots of training. I have been through all the basic classes at All Breed plus Reactive Dog, Just Tricks, Safety Dog, and several Outdoor Adventures. I am very smart and love to learn new things!

Does the dog escape the yard? Dig? Bark excessively? Anything else?
I bark a lot. But I think this is my job to let you know there are people outside or when I am board to get your attention. A little exercise and I bark less.

Does the dog ride well in the car?
Yes I love car rides. I normally just lay down in the back seat and sleep. I will however bark if I see another dog – or my arch enemy, the dreaded skate board.

Is the dog food aggressive?
Not at all. I am very food motivated and love food, but share it willingly.

Fearful of anything?
I think my obsession about skate boards is really fear based. Other than that – every once in a while I get a little scared of loud noises but nothing bad.

Health

I am happy and healthy, maybe a little overweight.
