Cookie's story...
Please consider adopting an adult cat. Adult cats are calmer, better behaved and cause less damage to furniture, drapes, ect. They have developed personalities-no surprises here. Adult cats are physically mature, which means, what you see is what you get. Also, you will feel good knowing that you gave an adult cat a second chance. Remember, every adult cat was once some one’s beautiful little kitten!
The foster mom also says that Cookie is like a cat-dog. She follows her everywhere and wants to be petted and wants attention. She s a real love; if only she'd like going to Petco a little more. LOL!!!
Cookie is an adult female Tortie. She was dumped and left behind abakery in Awoonsocket and when we got her, within 1 hours she delivered 5 kittens.
Cookie hates being at Petco and she doesn't show well. However, at her foster home, she's wonderful! The foster Mom can not undersdtand why she hates being in a cage at Petco. Well, we have decided that she will be adopted from her foster home, for her sake.
She's completely vetted, been tested, spayed, had all of her shots, she has no worms, no fleas or ear mites either. All she does need is a "Forever Home" this time.

She's a young girl, between 1 and 2 years of age. She really is a nice girl, all she needs is a home and not to go to Petco! LOL!

Fr an adoption application,or if you have any questions, email Rfalaguerr@aol.com.

The adoption donation is $100.00 each after an approved application as all of our cats and kittens have been spayed or neutered, been wormed and had age appropriate shots. This helps defray the expense we incur at the vets and we are in 100% compliance with the State of Rhode Island Mandatory Spay/Neuter Law.
Our adoption donation is a real bargain, as many of you may already know. Locally a spay is $270.00, a neuter $150.00 and office visits are $50.00 or more, and the costs for the aids/luke test is $48.50. Add to that the cost of a rabies, distemper and worming charges, and you can see that our adoption donation us very reasonable. This all means that there is less out of pocket for people who adopt from C.A.T.S. and WE, at CATS, ARE IN 100% COMPLIANCE WITH THE SPAY/NEUTER LAW TOO!

To obtain an application, please email me at Rfalaguerr@aol.com or if you have any quesstions, please email them to me.

C.AT.S. policy is that all of our cats and kittens will be adopted out spayed or neutered, tested for feline aids/luke, and all age appropriate shots. We will not adopt any cat or kitten that has not been spayed or neutered first. There will be no exceptions.

We are at the Seekonk, Ma PETCO every Sunday from 10:00 am to 3 PM. So you are welcome to stop by and see the kittens and cats that we have available.
In order to take home your new family member on Sunday, you must have already been approved prior to Sunday.

We do not sell cats or kittens, this is an adoption NOT A SALE. Each application will be screened and the application deemed the best will be the one selected.

About Our Rescue Group...
Cat Adoption Team Services, CATS) is a private, non profit, humane rescue group. Donations to CATS can be made through your work place ging to the United Way, just be sure to put Cat Adoption Team Services as the receipient of your donation.
Our number one goal is to promote the spaying and neutering of cats and kittens to help eliminate the over population problem and to help stem the needless killing of some many unwanted, unplanned, helpless cats and kittens. We do endorse the spaying and neutering of all companion animals. We strive to educate the general public of the importance of spay/neuter. We also try to adopt out as many cats and kittens, as we can, to premanent, responsible, loving homes. We totally support the TNR concept and the benefits of TNR.

Come Meet Our Pets...
We are at the Seekonk, MA PETCO every Sunday from 10 am to 3 pm. There is an application process to adopt. All of our cats and kittens are spayed or neutered prior to their going to their new home. All are given age appropriate shots as well. Hard copy mendical records accompany each cat and kitten on adoption day. Their is a $125.00 adoption donation.
This is areal bargin as locally a spay is $270.00, plus shots and a $50.00 office visit. A neuter is usally $150.00, plus the $50.00 office visit and extrra for shots. Many vets charge $48.50 to test for feline aids and luke, so as you can see, we are very reasonable!!

We feed only the best food as we believe that a healthy immune system is the cornerstone to a healthy cat or kitten.

We are in constant need of money and volunteers to do foster care as well as meet and greet the potential adopters at PETCO>

Our Adoption Process...
There is an application process and for each kitten or cat adopted there will be a $125.00 adoption donation to help defray our costs. We have gone up $25.00 due to the fact that we are being charged tht much more. This increase represents a complete off set. Our adoption donation is still very competive as anyone who has been to the vets recently will attest to.
We Serve the Following Cities, Towns, and/or Counties...
We try to serve as many communties as possible but since we are from East Providence, the East Bay area is our main focus. All lives are precious to us and we try not to turn down any animal, from any community, so long as we have space. Consider becoming a foster home and help us help these poor babies.
We also spend our money on the animals and are not interested in fattening our bank balances as some well known agencies continue to do.
