He is tall and lanky with the most debonair swagger when he walks. Harley has been fostered for the last 4 months with a professional dog trainer and is fully obedience trained, although he needs a reminder once in awhile. (Don’t we all?!). He would be best with a family with no children or with older children as he would be too much dog for young kids. Although Harley plays well with most dogs he can sometimes bully a more submissive dog and he likes to keep all the toys to himself. Therefore it would be best if he was the only dog in the home. Harley is a great alert dog if somebody comes knocking, but is happily ready to kiss everybody he meets as long as they are willing to pet him back! Beware though, his tail can sure clear the coffee table! Like all dogs, especially higher caliber dogs like Pitbulls, Harley needs clear leadership from his owner. Consistent, clear rules and structure are important in Harley’s life. But when you give him what he needs with structure and understanding he will be sure to return the favor with loads of affection and adoration. Thank you for considering Harley!!! |
