These Bichons were rescued from a commercial puppy mill and can only be placed in a home with a socialized dog already living there. The children in the home must be over the age of 10.
Dancer and Prancer are a bonded pair of bichons who must be adopted together. Prancer, a male bichon was born sometime in 2007. Dancer, a female bichon, was born sometime in 2003.
Prancer is sweet and curious. He is very shy and gentle. He is still scared of people, though he is getting calmer and braver. He follows Dancer everywhere and likes to see her wherever he is. He is getting accustomed to being held and petted – still a bit suspicious, but he is so gentle – like a big teddy bear. He is fine on a leash as long as Dancer is with him. Dancer is sweet and cuddly and would make an ideal lapdog. She is very alert, lively and sociable. She loves to run and dance around, and likes being held, petted and brushed. She is half Prancer's size but she is the boss. She likes people, dogs, and kids, and loves to play outdoors or in the house. She is good on a leash and enjoys walks. . Dancer and Prancer are playful, enjoy walks, and are good at doing their business outdoors, though they do have occasional accidents in the house.
