Freddie's Story...
Hey world , Freddie the FunPin here. Okay, I know it is suppose to say MinPin but I am fun so I want to be a FunPin. I am a one year old all natural male. This means I have ears that flop over and I still have my tail and I plan on keeping it that way. What is with the missing tails around here? I have to keep looking behind myself to make sure they don't try to steal mine.

My foster home wants everyone to know that I must go to an all male home. I do not like women at all, and as hard as they have tried to work with me on it - it is too deep rooted. But my foster dad wants everyone to know that I am still basically a puppy. I love to get into everything and check it out. I enjoy toys and I love my foster brothers too. I love my foster dad though.....I love him more than anything. I want to be with him 24/7. If we are not out playing, then I am in his lap. I even sleep under the covers with him. He is way cool.

I am not completely house trained because no one ever bothered to teach me but my new foster home is really working hard with me and I want to make them as happy as they make me. I just have to remember to let them know I have to go out. I keep forgetting but I am getting better. I have a ton of energy so a home with a fenced in yard and maybe another dog to play with would be great. I don't like cats too much. Sorry but I thought they were stuffed toys that squeaked. Boy was I wrong.

Well just remember that I am a fun loving boy who prefers males to females and tons of love. In return, you will have the best buddy in the world, ME. If you think you might be interested in me, please contact the person below and fill out an application. Thanks

Freddie is a Black & Rust Male, and is 1 year old. He has Natural ears and a Natural tail. Stands approx. 13" high and weighs 11.8 lbs. Must go to a MALE ONLY household.

Freddie is located in Ellington, CT and we will not ship this little boy.

About Our Rescue Group...
Our Mission is simple. To rescue Miniature Pinschers who are unwanted, abandoned, neglected, mistreated or are victims of inhumane treatment find responsible, loving and lifetime homes. To educate potential owners about the Miniature Pinscher and their special requirements, to ensure an educated decision when selecting the breed. To counsel owners on solving problems to help them keep their Miniature Pinscher. To educate animal control officers and shelter staff on how to identify the Miniature Pinscher and the special requirements and characteristics of the breed to aid in proper evaluation and placement.

AMPS, INC. is a non-profit organization registered in the State of New Hampshire comprised exclusively of volunteers. Our group is dedicated to rescuing, fostering, transporting, and otherwise coordinating efforts to help minpins in need find their way to loving, permanent homes. Our volunteers agree to abide by the guidelines as set forth by the Directors of AMPS. Each rescued MinPin is treated with special care. They are evaluated by a veterinarian for common health issues, are given required medical care, spayed or neutered and microchipped. We screen every applicant very carefully to ensure that they understand the responsibilities involved in caring properly for a pet. Our responsibility is to place our dogs into homes that will best meet their needs, both physically and emotionally. We look for people with patience, loving hearts, and an understanding of a minpin's needs. A detailed application from which we conduct reference verifications and a home visit with all household members present are pre-adoption requirements. A follow up visit may be scheduled at a future date to ensure that everything is working out well for the dog as well as the family. During this process, our pets are safely and lovingly cared for in private, approved foster homes in which we observe and evaluate each minpin for temperament and behavior, continue with the pet's socialization and training, and provide for their physical well being and health. Please examine the biography on any dog that interests you very carefully. We spend quite a bit of time assessing the needs of these dogs and our requirements are generally non-negotiable. Please visit our website for more information about our organization: http://www.allminpinrescue.com.

Come Meet Our Pets...
Our dogs are all in foster homes at varied locations, but please contact our director though here, and she will tell you what you need to do for the dog you are interested in
Our Adoption Process...
Adopting a Friend Adopting a needy dog is the most important commitment humans can do for themselves as well as for the pet. It is a huge decision and one that should never be taken lightly. Understand that the dog you get from us has already lost it's home and therefore our goal is to make this placement final and forever. Pet adoption is a lifetime commitment that we take very seriously. If you are interested in adopting, we ask that you visit our website for more information about the adoption process and to fill out an
adoption application: http://www.allminpinrescue.com.
