| I've had a rough life so far. I was abandoned on the streets of Baltimore with a flea collar embedded in my neck. I was in such pain and felt so sick, I was very grateful to be rescued by some very kind people. After a few days in the hospital, I got to go home with them. But they had other cats. I don't get along well with other cats, and all of us were miserable. So they gave me to the Howard County Cat Club, where I lived in a group home with more cats! I was so unhappy I got sick. Then I went to a nice foster home - but my friend moved and couldn't take me with her. I'm now living in a crate at a vet clinic - this is soooo not right!! But I couldn't go back to living at the shelter because....I now have diabetes and get insulin shots twice a day. The shelter folks don't have enough volunteers to come twice a day to give me my meds. I don't mind the shots and am VERY easy to medicate. The shots make me feel better. Despite my run of bad luck, I'm very affectionate with so much love to share. If you pick me up, I'll rub my face against yours and purr. There's nothing I love more than curling up in a comfy lap. I'd love sleeping with an older child, too. I'd be a great bed buddy. If you're looking for a very special cat and loving friend, I hope you'll come to an adoption show to meet me. I'll be at the Highland Groomery, 13401 Clarksville Pike Highland, MD 20777, from noon-3 pm on the second Sunday of every month and at the Columbia PetCo store on Dobbin Road on the third Sunday of every month waiting for you. |
