Beckham and Shiraz have been in boarding for months and months and are desperate to find a foster(s). They've been in boarding for so long, they've become best of friends. I hate to separate them but I know it's difficult to find foster's for two. We had a promising possibility for both of them but it feel through.
They're both great dogs. Beckham is a handsome Pointer/Hound mix with a lot of fun energy. He loves other friendly dogs but can have issues with strangers, kids, bikes and skateboards. With proper consistent training and discipline, these issues won't be issues at all. We will arrange for training with the foster who takes him. Once he knows and trusts you, he's a big love bug! A home with cats or kids would not work for Beckham.
Shiraz is Shepherd/Healer mix. She's a sweet girl who loves to get belly rubs. She can be a bit bossy and a home with a dominant dog or loud rowdy kids would probably not be well suited for her.
Additionally, I know we keep hearing that times are tough and believe me, I know it! But, it cost money to rescue and board dogs. If you can spare anything for Beckham and Shiraz's boarding, it's always appreciated. You may make a donation directly through our web site - www.muttmatchla.com

We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing dogs from various Los Angeles shelters the day they are to be euthanized. Our goal is to help provide animals with a second chance to a happy life and to help reduce pet overpopulation through spay and neuter programs. Once rescued, we place our dogs into loving foster homes while they await adoption. We do not keep dogs in kennels. Placing the dogs in foster homes is the first step to rehabilitation, as it allows us to thoroughly evaluate a dog's demeanor and needs enabling us to make the perfect match of dog and permanent owner. We attribute our high rate of successful placement to our foster program. At Ace of Hearts, we do not discriminate against any breed, including those in the bully breed family. Additionally, Ace of Hearts is dedicated to educating the public on how to be responsible pet owners and on the importance of spaying and neutering. We believe the real solution to pet overpopulation is through spaying and neutering pets.

If you fill out an application, we can arrange for private showings of the dog at the foster parent's home.
Our Adoption Process...
First, you can fill out an application at www.aceofheartsdogs.com under HOW TO ADOPT. Then you can come see the dog at our Saturday adoptions or directly and the foster parent's home. Third, we would do a housecheck, then upon receipt of the $250 donation and signed Adoption Agreement Form, you are good to go! Please call (310) 358-3344 if you have any questions/requests.

Los Angeles and Surrounding Areas (Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, West Hollywood, Hollywood, Studio City), San Diego, San Francisco, Santa Barbara, and the San Fernando Valley. Please note: We adopt dogs out anywhere, as long as the adopter comes to travel with them.
