| About Our
Shelter...
|
AFA is the oldest no-kill shelter in Westmoreland County and was founded in 1983. We are an all volunteer board and our shelter manager has 25+ years of experience in the animal field.
The current shelter is new (about 3 yrs.old) and is very, very nice (come and visit us)! We offer buy a brick campaign, always are in need of monetary donations and right now are looking for some kind person to donate a concession trailer! Thank you for your continued support! We hold many fundraisers throughout the year - check our websit for details. |

| We do not adopt pets off-site, but please do come and visit our shelter - you'll be pleasantly surprised at the beautiful conditions our animals are in :) |
| Our Adoption Process... |
Required to complete an adoption contract. If renting, we need permission from the landlord for a pet to be permitted.
We receive over 100 calls per day, so if your call is not returned immediately, it will be returned asap. (thanks for your patience) |
