Chloe's Story...
Hi, please let me tell you a little more about myself. I have been here at Action for Animals about 6yrs. I decided that I would rather be out and about with my friend Twinkles, who has also been here a long time, instead of hanging out in the cattery. I watch over the shelter during the day, making sure all of my dog and cat friends are being well cared for. I especially like to find a nice, fresh outof the dryer basket of laundry to take a nap in. I also sit on the table in our education room keeping an eye on things. I can be a little picky about when i want to be petted and loved, so if I swat at you please don't get upset. it just means I don't feel like being petted right then.

About Our Shelter...
AFA is the oldest no-kill shelter in Westmoreland County and was founded in 1983. We are an all volunteer board and our shelter manager has 25+ years of experience in the animal field.
The current shelter is new (about 3 yrs.old) and is very, very nice (come and visit us)! We offer buy a brick campaign, always are in need of monetary donations and right now are looking for some kind person to donate a concession trailer! Thank you for your continued support! We hold many fundraisers throughout the year - check our websit for details.

Our Adoption Process...
Required to complete an adoption contract. If renting, we need permission from the landlord for a pet to be permitted.
