Bubba is a has been in long-term foster care since 2007. He is located in Frankfort KY. Here is what his foster mom says about him:

Bubba is approximately 5 years old and exhibits the life on a chain behavior. His manic behavior at times is why I would consider him to be a bit special needs. He is very affectionate and weighs around 20-25 pounds. He looks bigger than he actually is. He has a guttural bark and sounds fierce, but this is definitely not true. He can be a bit hyperactive. He loves his indoor kennel and would need a fenced yard as he will take off running and forget to stop if he is let off his leash. He is very well behaved inside and loves attention and being close to his kennel. He is non-aggressive to food but he growls at the puppies in the house (but he will not bite.) He loves his own area.

He gets along well with cats. In fact, a kitten crawled into his kennel without my knowledge and I found the two sleeping uneventful when I got up this morning. He is UTD on his shots and fixed. He is crate trained and is new to being house trained. He will run to the door every time you go out; he loves being outside.

***Our adoption fee is $85 for both males and females. It includes the alteration as well as the vaccinations. We strive to have our animals altered before the time of adoption.***

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a non-profit organization that fosters and seeks adoptions for the dogs picked up by our local dog warden. Dogs that we can not place in foster care or find adoptive homes for are euthanized after 14 days by our county ordinance.

We charge a nominal fee of $60 for females and $30 for males. This fee covers spay/neuter,rabies vaccination and 1st round of basic vaccinations. we have a contract for adopters to sign that assures us the animal will be used as a companion animal and returned to us if no longer wanted.
