C.A.T.S.-C.A.N., Inc. is a non-profit organization based in Geneva, Florida. We operate a no-kill shelter and have cats and kittens up for adoption at Lake Mary and Oviedo PetsMarts. We screen each applicant and we DO NOT ALLOW declawing of the cats. Please call or come by to see our kitties - noon to 4:30 every Saturday at the Oviedo Petsmart and every day in the adoption rooms at the Oviedo and Lake Mary Petsmarts!
BUDDY - The cat that wants to be your dog!!
Buddy had been a beautiful cat, so we were told. Don't know what happened to him from that time to when he was trapped in a colony, but he was in pretty rough shape. Matted and scuffed up. But he had those big bear paws that kept reaching out to you so he could get love and the attention he was starved for. Buddy had two severely broken teeth which gave him much pain, but thru it all he wanted loving. The teeth have since been removed and he is doing so much better. He had a serious infection, but with time and good care he is coming around to his previous glory.
Buddy is 13.8 lbs, but feels like 20. He is a solid low rider. He is Negative for FIV/FeLv. He, like a majority of cats does have feline herpes virus. With continued good natural nutrition and love he will get stronger, but for now he needs to be an only cat. This suits him just fine as he obviously has a lot of love to give and doesn't want to share. He needs an experienced adult-only home as he doesn't know his strength.
