Peanut Butter is a beautiful Oberhasli/Pygmy(?) mixed boy who was rescued early last fall.
He came into the rescue in horrible shape, infected eyes and nose, hair loss all over his face from that infection, and everything else plus underweight and malnourished.
We thought it was odd he was in such rough shape, since he's one of the tamest goats we have here, he's been obviously bottle-fed as a baby.
He seems to be last spring's baby as well and he's in excellent condition now, all the infections were cleared up within a few months and he's put on good weight.
He's been wethered (neutered) and de-horned as he was a tad bratty with those horns before the procedure. Not aggressive, but he knew they were there and made use of them.
Our vet recommended dehorning and although it's a horrific procedure we believe it was a good decision. His head's in the final healing stages and he's ready for a new home.
He's a very sweet goat who'd be a good addition to any family.
