Minnie's story...
Please contact Sue (suerabeaux@gmail.com) for more information about this pet.

Minnie is about 3 years old. She is a very sweet and faithful dog.  She is very eager to please. She weighs about 30 lbs. She knows sit and shake, and probably more commands that we don't know about yet. She walks very well on a leash.

She does well with other dogs, and is getting along wonderfully with her foster Mom's five dogs. She also does fine with strangers when they are in public. We are not sure how she is with cats. But, she is such a laid back kind of dog when she is near her foster Mom, that she thinks she would be fine with cats and kids.  Minnie is not really a barker, unless the other dogs bark or she hears or sees something.

She loves to go for car rides. If the car door is open, and her foster Mom lets her out of the fence, then she will run to the car and jump in the back seat and wait for her.

Minnie is a very active dog. She loves to run, and run, and play. She enjoys back rubs and belly rubs. She loves treats. Her favorite treats are the Petco brand milk bones.

Minnie needs a home with a very secure fenced in back yard. Minnie also loves to be inside the house with her people. She does play in the yard at times. She LOVES to play fetch. But, she is happiest inside the house with people.

She does know how to use the doggie door. She appears to be house broken. But, with 8 dogs it is hard to say who had the accident, when her foster Mom does occasionally find one.

Minnie does not sleep in bed by her own choice.  It is possible that she chooses not to, because there are too many dogs in bed with her foster Mom.

Minnie loves to be with people. She will sit next to her foster Mom while she watches TV. She also follows her around the house.  She loves to be in her lap. Minnie is happiest when she can be with someone 24/7. She would do best in a home with a stay at home adult, as she tends to have separation anxiety. She does not like it when her foster Mom leaves. If Minnie had a choice, she would want to be with her human at all times. She is very loving and loyal to her foster family, and would do the same to her adoptive family.
