Littleman is a 1 year old Feist mix. Little Man came from a poor family who could not afford him, so they gave him to their grandmother who also could not afford him and kept him tied outside 24/7 for at least 3 weeks during December and early January. He was tied to a shed with junk piled up everywhere.... He weighs about 30 pounds even though his mother was Chihuahua/Feist, and his father is unknown. Littleman has lived with children in the home. He was surrendered to us by a lady that could no longer care for him. He is very friendly.

He is neutered, current on vaccines, dewormed, heartworm negative and started on heartworm and flea preventative. Adoption fee is $145.00.

About Our Rescue Group...

Homeward Bound is a non profit, no-kill organization based in Gilmer County, Georgia which began in August 2000. We are dedicated to providing a safe and nurturing environment for unwanted companion animals, while actively seeking permanent homes through our adoption programs. We take in dogs and cats that are found as strays, owner surrenders and abandoned. We also take animals out of high kill shelters to prevent them from being euthanized. We have rescued and adopted out about 4,000 animals.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We hold adoptions every Saturday from 11-5 and every odd Sunday (1st, 3rd and 5th) at PetSmart, 860 Cobb Place Blvd., Kennesaw, GA 30144 (off of Barrett Parkway).

Our Adoption Process...

All dogs are spayed/neutered, current to age on vaccines, dewormed, heartworm negative, and started on heartworm preventative and flea preventative. Adoption fee for dogs are $145.00 cash or check.

All cats are spayed/neutered, current on vaccines, dewormed, FELV/FIV negative and started on flea preventative. Adoption fee is $110.00 cash or check.

Application review and approval is required prior to adopting. Adopters must be at least 21 years old.

We serve the Gilmer County/Ellijay area along with the Kennesaw/Atlanta, GA area.
