Holly came into our rescue program on February 4, 2009. Holly came from the Oklahoma City Animal Welfare Division as a cruelty case along with 6 other horses. Holly is a beautiful, 19 year old, Chestnut, Thoroughbred, Mare. Holly is thin, weighing in at 954 pounds, infested with parasites and her teeth are in horrible shape. Holly has a tattoo, so we know she is a former race horse. Holly is a sweet girl, loads in the trailer like a pro and stands for the farrier. Holly has had her teeth floated, she has been dewormed, has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, and current hoof maintenance. She is seeking a loving, forever home to call her own. Holly would make someone an excellent horse. We have an application and contract that must be submitted when applying to adopt a horse. We do charge an adoption fee, depending on the horse, condition arrived, etc., All adoption fee's go back into the program to help future horses that come into rescue.
