| A Wish For Animals is a 100% nonprofit, no-kill rescue. We are run solely by volunteers who dedicate their time and resources to rescuing homeless pets from animal shelters who are often moments away from being euthanized. We often provide medical care to these neglected, abused and injured animals. A Wish For Animals is desperately in need of grants, sponsors and donations for our daily operations. We have also recently moved into our own no-kill facility which provides temporary housing for some of our rescued pets until we find them permanent homes. We are trying to raise enough money to renovate this property which would allow us to greatly increase the number of animals we rescue and provide a more open and nurturing environment for the animals to be kept while giving respect and love they deserve and did not receive prior to coming to AWFA. We are always in great need of volunteers to provide foster homes for these pets until we can renovate our facility. Our Foster Program enables the pet to be involved in a family environment while they are waiting to be placed in a permanent home. |
