Jody's story...
Jody is a 7 month old Maine Coon Brown Classic Tabby/Manx mix.

She is very beautiful. She weighs 5 pounds and is shy at first. But, is very
sweet. The photos do not show how beautiful she is. She was rescued from an
elderly sick man's home who loved cats. She just showed up on his door steps
hungry and gave birth to two babies the next day. One is a black and white
tuxedo named Jackson. The other babies are a silver tabby named Jazzy. Jody
will be spayed when her babies are ready to be adopted. She is current on
vaccination and is litter trained.

We are a non-profit no-kill foster rescue group that is in the process of getting our 501(c) by years end. We have rescued and adopted hundreds of cats and kittens and will continue to commit to doing our part to make Houston a no-kill city.

WHAT: An opportunity to adopt a friend for life from an ever-changing group of wonderful cats and kittens.

All the animals have been fully health-checked and have all age-appropriate testing, vaccinations, worming and spay/neuter surgery.

Our Adoption Process...
We have a $65 adoption fee on all animals that covers all shots, testing , health checks and age-appropriate spay/neuter.

Our adopters must be 21, have ID and must undergo an interview, fill out an application and sign contracts related to commitments for the care of the animals. We will check veterinary references and landlord information.

No animals may be adopted as gifts and and all members of the caretaking family must be in agreement about the adoption.

Should an adoption not work out we require the animal to be returned to Nine Lives Pet Rescue.
