| UPDATE: Britta has been in her foster home for over 1 year now. She has grown into a beautiful lady. Britta is spayed and on heartworm prevention. She has a lot of love to give and is waiting for you to come adopt her!! Britta means "strength" in German and we can think of no better name for this strong-willed survivor. Britta was rescued with a serious back leg injury. It is not known how she injured her leg; but it is a miracle it was able to be saved. When Britta was taken to the vet it was discovered that her leg almost severed down to the bone. Surely she was in constant pain and agony. But she showed true "strength" and made it through. Britta's leg has completely healed up now; she has no permanent damage at all. Britta is a very happy dog who greets everyone with a wag of the tail. She is good with all other dogs and people of all ages. She is up to date on all shots and dewormings. She would love to have a family to call her own with a doggie brother or sister. Britta has a lot of love to give and would make a great pet. Questions about this animal? Call 205-492-0718 from 8 am till 6 pm.
