| Happy Strays Rescue is a non-profit rescue organization that cares for stray, abandoned and orphaned cats and kittens. All of our cats are attended to medically, each is spayed or neutered, given vaccinations, tested for FELV/FIV, and then we begin the search for loving homes. Our rescues are often just babies who require bottlefeeding and hand rearing. Our cats and kittens are cared for in a network of wonderful foster homes while they wait for adoption. We are always looking for more foster homes, please contact us at info@happystrays.org if you would like to foster. We also try to educate the public on the huge pet-overpopulation problem. We bottle-feed kittens and try to educate people to do this and not bring them to the already overcrowded shelters. We also have a small pet food bank and help provide pet food to senior citizens and low-income people when we have it available. We are a 501c3 non-profit group and donations are always welcome! All donations are tax deductible. We also have a wish list available (http://www.happystrays.org/Pet_Food_Bank.html) at our adoption events and we really are in desperate need of foster homes for abandoned litters of kittens! Online donations may be made at www.active.com/donate/happystrays or you can mail donations to Happy Strays Rescue, P.O. Box 12, La Canada, Ca 91012 |
