| This is Sasha! She was born in 1998 and can be adopted for the Senior Dog Rate of $75.00 She is a bundle of fluffy energy! Sasha was rescued because her owner could no longer take care of her. When we picked her up, she was very nervous, but we let her explore a little around the house and in an hour she was letting us pet her and being friendly! Now she will not leave our sides, she is very loyal. Sasha does well with children aged 7 and older. I take her on walks everyday and she does excellent on a leash ,staying right by my side. She responds to her name and comes when called. She loves to explore our fenced yard while we do yard work. She knows the commands “sit” “outside” and “out”. When she needs to go to the bathroom, she whines softly to let you know. Sasha's favorite thing to do is cuddle. She will follow me around the house, then when I sit she comes and sits right next to me or on my lap. She loves her blankets or anything that is soft and smells like you to lay in. When I get home, she always runs to the door excitedly wagging her tail and standing on her back 2 legs waving her paws in the air. She enjoys being bathed and lets us use pedipaws to trim her nails. When its cold or rainy outside I put a raincoat or sweater on her and she wears them without a fuss. She only barks when the doorbell rings. Sasha is an excellent companion dog and full of so much love. She has had bladder stones in the past so she will need to be kept on a diet that prevents them. She also has cataracts but they do not seem to affect her. Sasha is being fostered in NC. If you would like to adopt this dog, please fill out the Small Paws Rescue Preadoption Application. |
