Name/Nicknames: Jasper

How did I get to ARLP: I was found as a stray by someone who really cared about what happened to me. He put a lot of time and effort into making sure I found someplace safe to stay. My foster mom says that he’s my guardian angel.

Hobbies: I love chewing on bones, chasing after my ball and any other toy that’s thrown. I’m an expert cuddling and try to do it every chance I get. And just recently I've taken up frisbee...they say I've got 'potential'

Tricks/Commands: I know sit, wait and come here. My foster mom says that I have excellent recall ‘cause I come running when she calls me. I’m a quick learner so it’s only a matter of time before I know lots more things.

Crate Trained:Yes. Though if I’m in an unfamiliar situation, I will let you know that I don’t want to be locked up away from you.

Potty Trained: Yes

Size in pounds: About 40 lbs. I’m long and lean.

Activity Level: . I need my exercise or I can be a little frisky with my foster sister and the cats. Once I’ve gotten my workout, I like to lounge and chew bones.

Fun things I do: I love to run and catch balls when they are still in the air. I’m still trying to get my mouth – eye coordination to work but practice makes perfect.

Socialization/who I currently live with: I live with my foster mom, my foster sister Daphne (a 5 yr old Sheltie) and two kitties that I’m learning not to chase.
