Cressida is a lovely girl, but does take some time adjusting to new surroundings. Although she is not a lap cat or a cuddler, she likes to sit on the arm of the couch while her foster mother pets or brushes her. She does not play, but prefers to sit on her perch on top of the wall unit and watch the other cats in her foster home play. Cressida is not fond of other cats, although she does tolerate the other cats in her foster home. Ideally, she would do best as an only cat in a home where there are no children or dogs. She may adjust to having one other cat in the household, as long as that cat is not confrontational. Could she be right for you? NOTE: Adoption fees are being waived in lieu of the adopters choosing (min.$50) in order to find her a home as soon as possible.

About Our
Rescue Group...
Abbey Cat Adoptions is a registered Canadian charity dedicated to finding permanent homes for unwanted cats and kittens throughout the Greater Toronto Area. Each year, ACA rescues cats from outdoor environments and overcrowded shelters. Our cats live in a network of volunteer foster homes throughout the GTA until they are adopted into suitable, loving homes; we do not have a shelter. We are not government funded and we have no paid staff; we rely exclusively on the generosity of like-minded animal lovers to fund our program.
We want to make sure that our rescued cats and kittens go to good, loving homes so before we adopt, an adoption counselor will conduct a short pre-adoption interview to make sure that you and the cat are a good match. 150 dollars for 6 months old & up (including spay/neuter) 75 dollars for kittens (not including spay/neuter)
