Minni's story...
Meet Minni! She's house broken, crate trained and fixed. Utd on her shots and knows some basic manners.

Minni loves to cuddle under the blankets and can be a really good girl at times. She can be very mouthy and would probably do best in a home with out young kids.

Minni does have a tendency to try to nip if your playing although she’s come a long way in the past few months (she used to try to use your hand as a chew toy! ).

Minni gets along with the other dogs but does try to be the alpha and I don’t trust her completely with the cats. Minni needs an experienced home with people who will continue to teach her to be nice and a good girl. She needs a firm hand but is a joy and lots of fun to have around.

About Our Rescue Group...
AWe are a small rescue specializing in saving small dogs under 25 pounds. We pull from area pounds/shelters when the dog is in grave danger of being put to sleep. We also rescue dogs from puppymills and take in owner releases when someone finds themselves in a bind and can no longer take care of their dog or someone notices a dog being abused by a family and wishes to save the dog. We specialize in rehabilitating the fear biters and growlers and teaching them to trust and love humans. We RARELY take in puppies. Usually the only time we have puppies available is when a pregnant female comes into our rescue and is too far along for spay surgery. Our rescue is run totally by volunteers who love dogs and wish to help them. Most of our dogs have an adoption fee for them simply to help us pay our vet bills. We also accept donations in the form of cash, dog food and treats, toys, collars, leashes, carriers, crates, blankets, etc. We know we cannot save all the dogs of the world but we do make a world of difference to the dogs we do save. You can all our successfull adoption stories, pictures, read about our events, etc. at our website: www.minimuttsrescue.org.

Come Meet Our Pets...
Because we are a group of volunteers spread out across Ohio and neighboring states, it's best to look over our list of dogs and email us about the one or more you're interested in. We can then set up a time for you to meet your dog at the foster home.
Our Adoption Process...
Our adoption fees vary according to how much money we spend on vet bills, medication, pull fees, etc. We require everyone fill out our online adoption application prior to meeting/adopting a dog from us. We must approve you prior to adoption and we conduct home visits to make sure the dog feels safe and secure in his/her new home and everyone in the family likes/loves the dog and wishes to finalize the adoption. We have the right to deny any application for any reason and have, at times, not adopted the dog at the last minute even after pre-approving an application because the dog reacted negatively on the home visit. We promise all our dogs happy, loving, forever homes and their instincts we trust.
We Serve the Following Cities, Towns, and/or Counties...
We serve all over the northeastern states. We're based in Madison, OH, which is an hour east of Cleveland, an hour north of Akron/Canton, and an hour west of Erie, PA. We do require our adopting families to come to our location to meet/adopt the dog if the drive is less than half a day. We're willing to meet along the way if the adopting family lives a day's drive away from us but we require the adopting family to drive at least halfway. We also welcome our Canadian neighbors to adopt from us and have several mini mutts living in the great north.
