She is a real couch cuddler even if she does stretch out so you don't have any option except to let her head lay in your lap so you can tickle her tummy.
She prefers sleeping on the bed at night which is OK with me. The only problem is that she insists on sleeping on my pillow instead of the other side of the bed or at the bottom. When I awake in the morning, she has backed up against my legs sound asleep. Hildy is housebroken and crate trained. Still needs work with the lease. The only cats she has seen have been thru the fence and she barks at them. She is very friendly with adults and has let several children pet her.
When she and my dog Abbey are playing in the fenced area, she loves to run and run and run around the yard. She has birds and squirrels and falling leaves to chase. She also likes to chase balls and will bring it back and drop it at your feet. Inside she likes squeaky toys to play with. She comes when called when she wants to do so. She really is a very hyper dog and needs a lot o running time every day, not just walking
I don't know how old she is, maybe 2-3 yrs. She only weighs about 35 lbs. but she eats as much as 2 dogs. She runs off any chance of gaining weight. She is a fun dog to have around and play with and tries to be the boss. |
