APPROX DATE OF BIRTH: DECEMBER 15, 2007
BACKGROUND & PERSONALITY: Hi! Our names are Niki and Mimi. We were born sometime in late December, 2007 and lived on our feral mother’s milk until we were rescued when we were about six weeks old. At the time we were rescued we were cold, extremely hungry and absolutely terrified; but thanks to our foster we have grown into healthy young adults with beautiful, shiny coats. We honestly don’t understand why people seem to prefer cats that are other colors, especially when OUR coats are so beautiful! We just want to be part of someone’s family and grow old in a loving, forever home. If you think you fit the ticket, please read on.
Niki is a large male who alternates between being very mellow, and romping throughout the house. He especially enjoys gazing out the window (he thinks he’s the neighborhood watch captain), playing and sleeps with his foster’s son at night.
Mimi (aka Meemers) is a petite female who is very shy until she gets to know you. Once she knows you she’s very affectionate, loves being petted And “talks” with a small, almost kitten-like squeak. She also enjoys gazing out the window, playing with toys and loves cozy places like closets and under beds to curl up for a nap.
These cats are litter box trained.
VET/MEDICAL HISTORY: Spayed or neutered, vaccinated, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, de-wormed and flea-free.
AVAILABILITY: Ready for adoption and eager for a loving, forever home. These cats can be adopted individually or together. The adoption will be through CATS AT THE STUDIOS, INC., a registered California 501(c)(3) non-profit rescue group.

Backstreet Cats is a small cat rescue group in the west San Fernando Valley dedicated to helping the stray and feral cats. We spay and neuter at feral colonies in an effort to curb over-population. Our mission is to educate others on the importance of TNR by providing training, humane traps, arrange spay/neuter appointments at FixNation and work with you every step of the way.
An application is completed, a thorough interview and screening takes place, we have an adoption contract and an adoption fee to cover a portion of the initial veterinary expenses. All cats are spayed and neutered, vaccinated, deflead, dewormed and tested for FeLV/FIV before released to their forever homes.
